Measuring – chicks part 3

Part on the agreement with Ellie taking care of the chicks was that she would keep track of the chicks in a book so her friends could update her book when she returned.  Ellie thought we should measure the chicks and write their height in the book.  Too bad the chicks had other ideas!

Jumping

It is warming up here and we are all spending more time outside.  Ellie has already been swimming in the ocean and a friend’s pool.  In this picture Ellie jumping high on a trampoline that is built into the hill.

Getting Brave (Chicks Pt2)

Ellie thinks it’s funny when the chicks get out and run around the garage. It has taken a few days but she is happy to pick them up.  She has created a fun zone for them (a different box with food and a place for them to move around and a few steps.) She has even created a few pieces of art for their fun box and also their cage.
