Aquabots

I brought these swimming fish home from my trip to the states in hopes that it would get Cooper to like being in water and taking a bath.  Ellie couldn’t wait to try hers out.  Too bad, they really didn’t work.  They wouldn’t start swimming and when they finally did they would stop very soon after.  The Hex Bugs that I also brought home, work really well, too bad the fish didn’t.

Bubbles Everywhere

Ellie has been showing Cooper how much fun soap bubbles can be outside on a hot day.  Cooper thinks it is more fun to get Ellie’s attention by picking up the bucket and spilling the bubbles everywhere.

Ellie created bubble art after Cooper went down for a nap.  We had faces on the deck and stepping stones, and bubble snow all over the railings.

Introducing Rosetta

While Rosetta isn’t getting her own blog, she does make appearances at our house.  Ellie loves dressing up Cooper and most of the time he is a good sport.  He does like the dress he is wearing in the picture much better than some of the other ones Ellie tries to put on him.

Cot Time

It seems to be a race every morning between Ellie and Cooper for who is going to get our attention.  Ellie has the advantage of being able to come into our room but Cooper does his best with kicking the wall and using his voice calling out for Daddy then Mummy.  This day Ellie decided to sneak into Cooper’s cot and both of them called out for us to wake up.

Curly Hair

Ellie enjoys one on one time with Mummy.  Sometimes it going out to get a Fluffy and a muffin and other times it is quiet time at the house curling her hair.

Sky Tower

We spent the morning at the Natural History Museum with friends.  I took the older kids into the earthquake/volcano house.  They all seemed a little nervous but no one admitted it.  Now, Ellie has had a few bad earthquake dreams and has asked not to go in that house again.  When we were getting back in the car, I noticed that you could see part of the Sky Tower over the hill and Ellie ask to have her picture taken with it in the background.
