Warning

Be carefully around Ellie when she is hungry. She had finished her sandwich and I had just finish making my second one, when Ellie spotted it and wanted “more, dada’s, more”. All I can say is; I lost my sandwich.

Quite Reading Time

Granddad and Ellie were having a brief moment of quite time, reading.

This shot was not set up. Ellie pulled the stool over to the chair herself, opened the paper, and proceed to read. She has been doing this lately with the paper, ads, and magazines around the house. She will sit and slowly turn the pages like she is reading.

Mum's Bag

She looks so proud to have found Mum’s bag , moved it off the cabinet to the couch and was looking through it to see what she needed to place into her bag. On a side note, the other day Ellie figured out how to open Victoria’s eye glass case, which she hasn’t been able to do and proceeded to remove the glasses and placed her toothbrush in it for safe keeping.

Sorting

Early one morning Ellie was found sorting out her laundry. What a big helper she is!

Tutu

My mom and dad brought a few gifts for Ellie on their recent visit, some Halloween books and candy (as they don’t really celebrate the Halloween here), and a tutu. Ellie loves wearing the tutu around the house and even over her pajama pants.

Plant Barn

It was another rainy day here and we need to get out. Off to Plant Barn, to look at some wild flower options with my mom and dad. Ellie has fun there, looking in all the pottery for water to play with, touching the plants and eating at the café. She didn’t even know that Super Man was standing behind her on the bridge; since she was so busy looking at the fish. Then she played with the fountains. She sometimes gets a little wet, but just her arm. This time she had on her rain jacket, which works well in the rain, but not when her hand was in the fountain. The water went in at the hand opening, then trapped by the water proof jacket ran along her arm and then down the inside of the jacket to her shirt and pants. Ellie didn’t mind at all, she just wanted more!

Airplane

We have a small private airport over the hill from us and we see small planes fly overhead from time to time. When they do, Ellie will look up, point and say “plane” then as the plane flies away she will say “bye bye”.
