Cuddles

They look so sweet and innocent!  Too bad that doesn’t last long.  Cooper will either sit on Ellie and bounce (he is getting quite heavy) or Ellie will roll him off and Cooper will make a loud noise to let Ellie know he didn’t want off.

Halloween Part 1

Halloween is very different here than in the states.  The kids don’t go door to door for candy and most don’t celebrate the day.  Grandma, wanted to do something special for the kids and set up a door to door trick or treat.  While Ellie knew what to do right away, it took Cooper a few times to realize that if he knocked on the door, Grandma would open it and give him candy!

Tall Ship Show

During Grandma’s visit, there was a tall sailing ship show in town.  We all took the ferry, Cooper’s first time, to get into town.  Then we discovered the many things happening around the boats.  The kids listened to stories, played games and looked at all the ships.  Ellie made a toy sailing boat with Mummy as Cooper and I were keeping busy.  Grandma Gwynn even found some a few minutes of quiet time to read the newspaper.  Don’t worry the kids didn’t let that last long.

Peeking

Ellie and a best friend built a little blanket fort outside to have afternoon tea in with some of her dolls.  They had a little hole to peek through to spot Cooper as he approached them.

Getting Ready

Grandma is coming to stay with us for a few weeks and we are getting ready.  Cooper is going to move into our room while Grandma stays in his room.  The kids where very helpful testing out the mattress.    They reported it is bouncy and good to roll on.

*I am still very far behind.  This took place at the end of Oct.
