It’s Strawberry Time

Strawberry season is Ellie and Cooper’s favourite time of year.  Victoria had a wonderful idea this year to take the kids to a strawberry field. While Cooper was busy picking everything except strawberries, Ellie was busy finding the largest ones.   I think they ate just as many as they put into the bags.  We were surprised one of them didn’t turn into a giant strawberry.   

Zoo

They both love the Zoo and this time we were treated something special, the elephant getting a bath! 

Reading Together

Ellie has always had the love of books and it is great that Cooper is following along. It makes you nervous when there is no sound coming from them and what a great surprise to find quietly together reading.  

Dance Off

While at the amusement park, Ellie and her friends went on stage for some candy and a dance competition.   She was selected to be in the top three and then dancing to Gangnam Style, She won! 

Adrenaline Girl

A few years ago, I would have never guessed that Ellie would be an adrenaline junky.  She went on her first roller coaster a year ago and loved it.  Now, we haven’t found one she wouldn’t try.  We started our day doing a roller coaster that free falls, one that I thought she wouldn’t like, and she loved it.  The rest of the day was spent going from one roller coaster to another.  She ended up riding on more roller coasters than I did.  She can’t wait to go back for more!
