Mud Race

Ellie and I completed our first every Mud monster race.  There was no chance of staying clean!  She did very well and was very competitive.  She didn’t want to wait for our friends who were behind us.  Only once did she complain.  That was when she slid down a very large mud slide into a pool of water and mud and she ended up with mud all over her face and in her eyes.

Gummy Bear

Ellie has learned this Gummy Bear song at school.  Some of her classmates sang it for the Variety show.  She made this gummy bear out of playdoh and sing the song all the time around the house.  Once you hear it, it is hard to get it out of your head.

Jumping

We have two very fun, giant trampoline places by us and the best part is Cooper is almost free with a paid adult (me).  Ellie still remembers her trampoline sequence from a few years ago and will perform it for anyone that is watching.  She is much better at jumping high and loves jumping into the foam pit.  I surprised her this day by doing a front flip into the foam pit.  She ask, Daddy when did you learn how to do that?  I am glad I can still surprise her. (No, there are not any picture of me being very ungraceful flipping into the pit.)  

Pigeon

Our friends have been hand raising a few baby pigeons that fell out of their nest.  Ellie was curious and wanted a closer look at them.  She decided holding one of them was going to be to close but petting them made for a very exciting afternoon.  

Morning Run

Ellie and I started practicing for an upcoming race.  We left the house in enough time to watch the sunrise at the beach.  Her running is getting much better, we had very few walking moments.  (All the swimming must be helping.) 

Faces

We just finished a photo shoot and I asked Ellie to help me test a technique that I want to use some time this summer to create dark clouds but have the subject lit well.  (You can see her special photo assistant outfit she wears to every photo shoot so far.)  She is very comfortable in front of the camera and at times likes to be very cheeky!

Inflatable World

Ellie and Cooper were invited to a birthday party at Inflatable World.  They had a blast!  Ellie is much braver then she use to be and tried everything there.  It did take a friend to get her to jump off the high wall but once she did, she did it over and over again.
