Working Outside

I was outside barbequing dinner and Ellie wanted to do some art work.  She set herself up with a stool, paper, and her new multi-coloured pen.

Feeding Alpacas

Ellie is helping prepare some of the new pellets for the alpacas.  They don’t usually like the summer pellets as they contain zinc, so we are trying to trick them by stirring some molasses in with them.  Ellie wanted to set out there food like they were at a picnic.  You will see two bowls and small piles of hay for them to enjoy.

Giant Swing

Ellie’s friend now has two giant swings that are tied to a tree at least 20 feet up.  Ellie had so much fun swinging on them.  The girls took turns trying out each other’s swing and wanted to be pushed higher and higher.

Eating Vegetables

Our vegetables in the garden have been growing and growing.  Ellie enjoys picking her own veggies and eating them before she ever leave the garden.  The other day we picked over 30 tomatoes and that was after Ellie ate a bunch.

Water Slide

With a lot of rain over the holidays, our water tank full and what better way to use the water then to build a giant water slide.  Ellie had one of her best friends over to share in the bubbly wet fun.  

Taking Pictures with my Camera

Ellie is now able to hold my camera the correct way and take pictures.  Before, she has played with my camera, but has only been able to take pictures when it is on a tripod.  She has taken a few of me and now her princesses.

Talking with the Alpacas

We had been playing with Ellie outside for a while and I went in to get something and then the next minute I saw Ellie sitting on the fence talking with the alpacas.  I was able to take this picture right before she noticed what I was doing.
