Always Helping

Ellie always want to help.  She helps make dinner and when it comes to anything outside where she can play around, she is always willing to help.  Here, she is helping me take items out of the garage and place them on the path for me to take a few pictures to sell the items online.  My problem was getting pictures of the items without Ellie posing in them.

Make-up Second Try

It is a good thing Ellie doesn’t need to wear makeup.  We did ask her to look in the mirror and she thought she didn’t have enough on.

Writing

Ellie has been busy reading and writing.  She loves to point out signs and then will tell us what they say.  She has been practicing her writing skills and if she makes a grocery list Victoria will buy what is on the list.  This has worked a few times until Ellie realized if she put a number before the item she would get that quantity.  This rule has now changed and she knows she will only get one of each thing.  Ellie also decided to use her skills to modify the sign Victoria put on the door earlier in the day.

Hang out with friends

Ellie had a friend over to see our new house. While she rarely went outside without us at the last house, she now goes outside all the time.  Here they are sharing afternoon tea together before running around and making lots of noise.

Hide & Seek

Ellie loves to hide.  Sometimes the hiding place is in plain sight and other times she finds a really good place to hide.  This time she somehow slide under her bed and pulled the blankets down covering her.  The strange thing about this is the fact that until recently she wouldn’t go under her bed.  It was too low and she didn’t want to get stuck.  Now, she is bigger she somehow slides under and isn’t scared.

Disney on Ice

Ellie was invited to go with a good friend to Disney on Ice.  The girls were both dressed in their best princess dresses and had a great time.  Ellie was very excited to tell us all about it when she arrived home.  She also showed us all the things she bought with the money we gave her.  One of those things was a princess wand that has a heart the spins and lights up when you press a button.  We have spent many nights at her bedtime listening to this wand spin.
